These are some very interesting and highly collected exposition medals. Their unique shapes and design, the unique material they are made of, and 5 levels of medals awarded, make them interesting and quite desirable.

These Louisiana Purchase Exposition Award Medals were designed by Adolph A. Weinman and struck by the U.S. Mint at Philadelphia. The various award medals had different overall shapes, but similar designs.

These are the quantities of the various types of medals struck for the Exposition in 1904, by the US Mint:
