MINERALOGICAL AWARD MEDALS
These are some very interesting and highly collected award medals. What makes these so unusual is that they were all three awarded to the same individual.  Seldom seen together like this after over 80 years,

These three medals were all awarded to "Waldemar T. (Theodore) Schaller", obviously a very noted mineralogist.
Two of these medals are struck in 14K Gold.
One gold medal was awarded in 1938.  This medal is known as the Washington A. Roebling Medal awarded by the Mineralogical Society of America (MSA).  Only one of these medals has been awarded each year since 1937.  This medal was only the second medal ever issued by the MSA, issued in 1938.
Their website shows to whom every medal has been awarded since 1937.  You can see this medal awardee listed on their site for 1938, and other links are available there regarding the presentation, acceptance and a picture of the awardee.  This medal was awarded for "Meritorious Achievement".

The second gold medal was awarded in 1952 by the United States Department of the Interior for "Distinguished Service".  These medals are very desireable and rare, as well as having been struck by the United States Mint.

The third medal is struck in bronze.  There is no date of award, but awardee's name is engraved on the medal.  The little information I could determine on this medal is that it was awarded by the Austrian Mineralogical Society.  It is obviously a very prestigious award, but I could locate no further information on the medal.

The gold contained within the two gold award medals is worth over $5,000 at the time of this writing (8/10/20).  I have found NO sales records for the Washington A. Roebling medal.  I am sure, because of their extreme rarity, with only one awarded per year, that these do not come out to the general public for sale very often.  The Department of the Interior gold medals are available for purchase at auctions, from time to time, but are still not common by any means.  They are quite desirable and collectible, and this one is a beautiful example.

I have shown the medals below and have defined their specifications indivually with each medal.
I am asking $12,500.00 for all three medals but will accept a very reasonable offer to a true collector of these types of medals.  This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to the right buyer.  Please contact me if interested in the purchase of these rare medals.
